Anthony Leroy Watkins, born on September 9, 1967, in Fort Pierce, Fl. to John and Sophia Watkins Sr.. Anthony was the middle of three children. He was born a fighter and departed A fighter on July 26, 2024.
Around eight years old his parents relocated to Tallahassee, Fl., to complete their college education. After graduation,
they relocated the family to Margate, Fl., where he met most of his childhood friends; some friendships would continued into Adulthood. His friends called him "Big Ant."
After high school Anthony decided to venture out and see the world. Some of his adventures led to trouble but as he got older and wiser he settled down and enjoyed being a free spirit, enjoying life to the fullest. He wore a smile on his face that could light up a room from afar. A light so bright and so full of love you couldn't help but return the love.
His passion for Motorcycles began at a young age with his siblings shared and developed by his father. The three siblings enjoyed riding them daily to school. Anthony developed deep love and passion for this adventure and continued this passion until illness overtook him. He felt free and he enjoyed the excitement it brought when he rode. He frequently rode with his father prior to his father's departure. He felt proud that he was able to experience their passion of riding together.
Anthony embraced challanges. He was adventurous, a daredevil and very loving. His passion for life was contagious. When the opportunity came he loved to travel, he would return with wonderful memories of what he saw and experienced. He loved to camp in his Recreational Vehicle moving from one campsite to another; Skiing, Jet skiing, Cookouts, and enjoyed a good movie on cable.
As a teenager he would swim in the canals near the Margate home as well as putting his boat in the creeks behind the home. Anthony could repair anything he had that gift like his father He would never let his sickness keep him back from doing the things he wanted to do. He started his own business during pressure cleaning and washing cars, when his health permitted him.
Anthony loved his family, and he was a protector of everyone, friends and their kids. He had a heart of gold. He left a lasting impression on anyone he met. He continued to live, love and laugh until God's calling.

Anthony lived his life the best way he knew how and sad to say he left this world too soon. We were making plans to travel more and do more as a family but God's plan triumphed over our plans. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. In Anthony's final moments he knew he was loved and the desires of our hearts because we spoke it to him day and night. We prayed constantly for him and with him but in the end God loves him most. Rest now until we see you
